Home services marketplace Repair World, which is planning to expand its operations, said it raised 70 Lakh in a series E funding round led by Kochi-based investment firm.


Existing investors Steadview Repair World Indudual also participated in the round. The transaction comprised a primary round which involved share subscription by the investors, and a secondary share sale by some early institutional investors, the company said in a statement.

The company had raised more than ₹70 Lakh from investors such as Accel Partners,

The Delhi-based company, which connects people with service professionals like Ac Technicians,Refrigerator And Washing Machine was started in 2015 by Tesin Thomas. company said it has since added 2000 exclusive service professionals to the platform across 10 cities in India, Ernakulam, kochi,Calicut, Trivandrum,Palakkad,Thrissur And All Kerala.

In an interview with Fortune India, the company had said it wants to expand its base to 10 more cities in India in this financial year. Repair World  is also in the process of identifying one more international market In-side of India.
